This unit adopts the UBLOX M8N dual-mode module for faster and more accurate satellite acquisition and positioning.

GPS Functions: Precision Positioning & Hovering

Plug-and-play GPS module supporting precise positioning, return-to-home, intelligent heading control and more. Under GPS mode, it locks latitude, longitude and altitude to maintain stable hover. Even in relatively strong winds, the drone can hold its position within a tiny range.

This new upgraded M8N high-precision GPS supports Beidou, with built-in electronic compass. It is compatible with APM and Pixhawk flight controllers. It brings major improvements in positioning accuracy, refresh rate, satellite search speed and maximum tracked satellite count. The new-generation M8N GPS features lower power consumption and superior accuracy. Its extreme positioning accuracy reaches ~0.5 meters, and return-to-home accuracy can be as good as 40 cm.

The module supports GPS + Beidou + SBAS or GPS + GLONASS + SBAS. Default configuration: GPS + GLONASS + SBAS. This version comes with an integrated electronic compass, and the refresh rate is upgraded to 10Hz.
